Evening with Tukkanuotta

Although the chaotic nights of Helsinki’s suburbs have been replaced by poodle piss and queues at Prisma, death metal band Tukkanuotta are returning to their roots for one night only.

It will be approximately 17 years and 7 months since the release of Tukkanuotta’s debut album Viimeinen Nistiretki in October. Vocalist Ulti-Make explains the occasion rather simply:

“Ratface asked us, so we figured we might as well go play.”

The last time Tukkanuotta performed live was at the now-defunct PRKL Club in January 2015, at their unforgettable farewell show Viimeiset Viivat.

Evening with Tukkanuotta is part of hardcore band Ratface’s 20th anniversary concert series.

Joining Ratface and Tukkanuotta on the bill are Demonic Death Judge, a stoner rock crew from Kotka celebrating the release of their new album, and Hyljätyt, a scene-veteran band delivering their take on metallic hardcore.
