Lida Moeini
Lida Moeini, known from Radio Helsinki's Kotibileet program, plays the songs you really want to hear! Lida especially loves zero-beat music, so you can be sure to hear some guaranteed hits on the dance floor!
Emilia Ex
Emilia Ex, who channels 2000s pop and girl power, brings her dancers to Tiivistämö for a nostalgic live show, where the artist's own songs blend seamlessly with pop hits from the early 2000s!
Päiväkirjaklubi
Päiväkirjaklubi is a phenomenon with no end in sight. The club's founders, stand-up comedians Risto K. Järvinen and Eeva Vekki, along with hundreds of other former teenagers, have been reading their teenage diary entries to sold-out audiences across Finland for over ten years. These old diary entries are relatable, embarrassing, moving, and cringe-worthy—and that's why they're so ridiculously funny.
The diary club features authentic entries about what life was like as a teenager in the old days. Expect empathy, solidarity, laughter, vicarious embarrassment, and excitement. In addition to diary entries, the Diary Club has also read love letters, school essays, and poems. The evening will conclude with the Most Embarrassing Teen Poem Battle, with the winner chosen by the audience. The more embarrassing, the better!
“Riitta came to watch a rock program and said she would cry when she saw Elvis. I don't know if she cried, because I didn't dare look at Riitta at that moment. We sat on the sofa, hand in hand. I wanted to kiss her, and she seemed to want it too. I spent three hours planning the right moment, but the gang came home just as I was about to make my move. Once I had to go to the cold room to fart, and when I came back to Riitta, I noticed that the smell followed me.”
From the diary of 15-year-old Risto K. Järvinen, February 1, 1981.
