🌸 Shiawase Supairaru (“Spiral of Happiness,” a term taken from the anime Bocchi the Rock!), is a three-piece J-rock band from Helsinki, formed in 2023. They draw direct inspiration from the Shimokitazawa sound.
Their music blends the complexity of math rock with atmospheric guitar work, fast tempos, and raw, emotional vocals, balancing between fragility and aggression. Their first two singles, Raudā and Cotton Candy, are available now, with new material expected in 2026.
🌸 SERITA is a Finnish-Japanese J-rock and alt-rock artist whose music draws heavily from the worlds of J-rock and kawaii metal, taking listeners to the crossroads of intense emotions and cultural influences. SERITA writes and sings in Finnish, English, and Japanese. Her songs resonate with love, pain, and hope.
Serita released her EP in October 2025 and is currently working on new material for her debut album, which is set to be released in autumn 2026.
🌸 Rising Sun Music Experience is a new Helsinki-based band dedicated to performing Japanese music. The members share a deep passion for Japanese culture, and their mission is to showcase the richness and diversity of Japanese popular music across different media. RSME’s repertoire spans timeless classics and fresh hits from video games, films, anime, and a wide range of musical genres, offering audiences an authentic taste of Japan’s vibrant soundscape.
🌸 Japaninkatu is a band that brings the golden era of Japanese city pop to the stage as a living interpretation of a time that never truly disappeared. City pop is danceable Japanese-language pop music that blends Western influences from the 1980s such as funk, soft rock, and soul with Japanese melody, aesthetics, and rhythm. Music journalist Yutaka Kimura has described the genre as “urban pop for an urban lifestyle.” Come soak up the vibe and experience the magic of city pop live with Japaninkatu!
