Helsinki Fingerboard Open

Description

The very first Helsinki Fingerboard Open of all time will take place at Tiivistämö on Saturday, January 17, 2026!

The competition is supported by 16 brands from 7 different countries and will be held on a custom-built fingerboard park. The program also includes free prizes, challenges, skateboarding and fingerboarding video screenings, and live music at the afterparty. In addition to the main park, there will be plenty of table space available for open fingerboarding sessions.

The event we are organizing is the first of its kind in Finland, and you’re guaranteed to have a great time. You can already register for the main competition here.

MAIN COMPETITION FORMAT

The main competition will be held in three stages:

Round 1: Qualifiers
Each competitor gets 45 seconds to perform tricks on the main park.

Round 2: Semi-finals
The top 20 fingerboarders each choose 3 tricks to perform on the main park and get 3 attempts per trick.

Round 3: Finals
The top 5 fingerboarders face off in a traditional Game of Skate on the main park.
