Tiivistämö Shorts - Independent Film Showcase is a new, low-threshold film screening in Helsinki's Suvilahti, Tiivistämö. The event aims to bring together filmmakers and those interested in the industry and provide a screening platform for independent, alternative self-published shorts.

We are now looking for short films under 20 minutes for the first ever Tiivistämö Shorts screening at Tiivistämö on Sunday 13 April 2025.

The screening is free of charge and open to everyone.

• Open call is open to all animation, documentary, fiction and experimental films up to 20 minutes.
• The film must be submitted as a Vimeo or Youtube link.
• Year of production: open.
• Country of production: open.
• The submitter of the film is responsible for all copyright in the film and agrees to make the film available for screening if selected for screening.
• Please apply by filling in the application form by Sunday 9.3.2025 at 23.59.
• All applicants will be notified of their selection by Monday 24.3.2025.
